Job Description
An Investor Services FATCA and CRS Supervisor will be required to execute the following tasks in the Investor Services Department. They shall be executed within the guidelines and procedures provided by HedgeServ and under the supervision and guidance of a manager and director. The FATCA & CRS Supervisor will ensure high-quality execution of FATCA/CRS processes while supervising up to four Administrators.

The combination of tasks required to be executed will vary depending on both client structure and client requirements.
FATCA and CRS
- Oversee the validation of tax withholding certificates (e.g., W-8/W-9) and CRS self-certifications; resolve rejections; communicate curative documentation requirements to Investor Services and ensure evidence retention
- Own the daily, monthly and annual FATCA/CRS operational cycle, including monitoring work queues, balancing workloads across Administrators, and clearing aged items
- Review entity/individual accounts to identify reportable status; verify indicia via electronic and document searches
- Maintain and enhance team procedures and control checklists
- Plan daily work, set priorities, and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards
- Support the onboarding of new Administrators and identify training needs
- Act as the first escalation point for complex classifications, documentation exceptions, or client issues; prepare clear summaries and options for Manager/Director decisions
- Perform second-reviews on accounts ensuring readiness for filing
- Lead small projects/ad-hoc tasks to streamline workflows, templates, and controls
- Ensure adherence to internal policies/procedures and regulatory guidance
Education
- Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree – Completed bachelors degree required.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hedge fund administration firm, preferably in a FATCA and CRS role. Alternative experience may be considered.
