Overview
Investment Compliance is part of the Depositary and Fiduciary domain of BNP Paribas. DFS focuses on monitoring and ensuring that funds comply with legal and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Financial analysis of contractual and legal requirements and implementation into the compliance monitoring system
- Carry out investment operations on funds to ensure assets comply with legal and contractual requirements, including pre-analysis, market conformity, and lending checks
- Perform investment compliance controls using a dedicated IT tool
- Analyze and document all reported investment compliance exceptions
- Identify and categorize investment compliance breaches, including the origin of the incident
- Setup and maintenance of funds master data
- Ensure data integrity and exhaustiveness received from fund accountants, custodians, etc.
Requirements
- Very good English skills, spoken and written
- University degree (Finance, Economics, Law)
- Experience in the investment fund industry is advantageous
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of funds and securities markets
- High accuracy, quality focus, and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
