The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the timely and accurate resolution of inventory requests related to cycle count adjustments and safety stock adjustments. Additional focus is placed on investigating inventory trends, providing inventory related solutions and guidance to the Operations teams, and regularly contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate inventory levels in alignment with operational needs and company policies.
  2. Implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  3. Entering and updating inventory data in the inventory management system.
  4. Generating and analyzing inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the inventory management system.
  6. Monitoring internal request systems to ensure timely resolution of safety stock update requests.
  7. Investigating safety stock requests and determining appropriate stock levels.
  8. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to inventory management.

Our requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Proficiency in English language (min. B2+).
  3. Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in inventory management, preferably in the offshore drilling or related industry.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  8. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
