Oversee compliant lifecycle management of IT assets across all countries
Liaison with international teams across all countries to promote alignment of good IT asset management practice, identify potential opportunities for improvement, and facilitate inter-organisational cooperation
Liaison with the global supply chain team to assist procurement of IT assets (especially software)
Maintain a strong understanding of prevailing IT asset management principles, mechanisms, and tools; proactively share such knowledge across the international community, as appropriate
Help to identify and drive cost efficiencies
Seek to maximise the benefits realised from licence sharing and software pooling initiatives
Support audit activities
Provide regular status reports to management and other stakeholders
Represent IITS on stakeholder meetings
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a global or international setting
Strong understanding of software licensing, IT infrastructure, and the asset management lifecycle
Strong knowledge and understanding of the application of IT asset management principles, mechanisms, and tools plus enthusiasm and capability to keep such skills current and share with others
Ability and willingness to support international activities that occur outside conventional local working hours (and to occasionally travel internationally, if needed)
Proven self-starter demonstrated through related work experience
Proven strong collaboration and teaming skills
Demonstrated English language ability (both verbal and written) to effectively communicate with all levels of management and other stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment with only general direction
Demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently start new projects
Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and manage a team and maintain Lockheed Martin interests
