Interim - Procurement Project Excellence Lead - Process Improvement & Decentralization
6‑month contract | Germany | Europe‑based
Supporting a fast‑growing European digital business that’s rebuilding how procurement operates at a local level after moving away from a centralised global model. The role is a standalone‑style position within a sizeable regional entity, where procurement exists but requires structure, clarity, and momentum.
Responsibilities
- Design and embed practical procurement processes, tools & policies
- Improve how procurement communicates and engages stakeholders
- Put structure around guidance, governance and ways of working
- Act as a procurement project manager, turning intent into delivery
- Operate in a fast‑moving environment
Ideal Experience
- Comfortable working with high autonomy
- Experience setting up, improving, or reshaping procurement functions
- Enjoy working in change, ambiguity and “build as you go” environments
- Backgrounds across multiple industries or operating models welcome
Requirements (flexible)
- Typically 5‑15+ years procurement experience (focus on exposure, not strictly years)
- Strong communication skills, able to make procurement land with the business
- Fully remote, digitally confident
- Europe‑based
