Our client is a multinational company, a leader in the production of plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients. The company focuses on providing innovative solutions in the areas of food, health and pharmaceuticals.

We are currently looking for an Interim Finance Manager.

What we expect

  • university degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • minimum of 5 years experience as a financial director or other managerial position in the field of finance
  • very good knowledge of SAP
  • advanced knowledge of English (C1)
  • knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards
  • experience in the service industry would be an advantage
  • proactive attitude

Your tasks

  • 2nd reviewer and approver of maverick invoices postings done in SAP (SOD rule as 100% invoices are maverick ones) - daily
  • team management - team of two accountants
  • payment runs from SAP - back up for the accountant
  • reviewer and approver of BFC packages
  • reviewer and approver of accounts reconciliations
  • balance sheet reconciliation (dedicated BS accounts)
  • journal entries for: provisions for bonuses and taxes, unused holiday accrual, local GAAP related entries
  • PL GAAP specific journal entries
  • IFRS16 entries review
  • profitability overview (Transfer Pricing) and communication with Group Tax
  • month end closing monitoring for 5 LEs
  • management of taxes (monthly)
  • reviewer and approver of all journal entries done in SAP by the team (upon request)
  • validation of suppliers modification in SAP (upon request)
  • suppliers contracts review, negotations (e.g. renewal of the office lease for R Poland, car lease contracts) (upon request)
  • projects (e.g. DMAT for Poland & Belgium in 2025) (upon request)
  • FSSC recharges and Corporate Fees - calculations and invoicing (bi-annualy)
  • financial statements compilation for Poland (xml) (annualy)
  • financial statements preparation in English for other 4 LEs in my scope (annualy)
  • statutory audits (PL, BE, FI, NL, RU) - preliminary and final (annualy)
  • board meetings: presentation of financial results of 5 LEs (annualy)
  • budget: upload to SAP (after B25 finalization) (annualy)
  • corporate income Tax calculation (annualy)
  • transfer pricing: update of local files and submission to tax authorities (annualy)
  • tax declarations (CIT, WHT, CbC) (annualy)
  • annual closing => distribution of profits (i.e. dividend payment) (annualy)
