About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Interim Finance Director to lead the finance and administration functions for a growing company in the building and construction sector. This role demands a practical, hands-on approach and a strategic mindset.

Job Description

• Overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and controlling for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Managing credit control, receivables, and debt collection processes, including handling financial guarantees.
• Verifying financial parameters and preparing comprehensive financial statements, analyses, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Managing finances within the construction and logistics sectors, including oversight of inventory and material stocks.
• Setting intercompany rates and ensuring effective communication and alignment with headquarters.
• Supervising fleet administration and general property management.
• Ensuring seamless collaboration with commercial, operational, and technical departments to support overall business objectives.
• Leading and developing a finance and administration team

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or Head of Finance
• Hands-on approach in fast-paced and dynamic business environments
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, controlling, and effective receivables and debt collection strategies
• Skilled in team management and fostering a positive, productive work environment

Whats on Offer

Our Client offers a 6-month interim contract with a strong possibility of extension or transitioning to a permanent position. The office is located in Warsaw, Poland. A company car will be provided.
