The EDP team is building an internal platform for Elia Group software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The EDP Platform is a service-oriented, cloud-native platform that provides application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run, and operate their software products. It encompasses both private cloud and select public clouds.

Position Description

EDP consists of currently seven product lines, each responsible for a subset of products. The Product Line Interaction is responsible for defining standards for devices and front-ends accessing EDP and delivering them as products (i.e., services) to their customers.

Targets in that Position

As the Product Owner (User Devices) for Interaction, you will be responsible for user devices and will play a key role in creating the Interaction (User Devices) services along their lifecycle. This includes creating high-level product vision, specifications, and roadmaps, as well as collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure the products meet consumer needs.

Profile Requirements

1. Defining end-user devices profiles and standards (e.g., desktops, laptops, mobile devices) including BYOD policies.
2. End User Device Management (whole Hardware & Software lifecycle).
3. Endpoint Security & Protection for Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS).
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Able to work with and influence technical engineering teams.
6. Experience with proper backlog management.
7. Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skill Requirements

Must-have competencies / Must-have skills

1. A minimum of 5 years of product management or product ownership experience.
2. Comprehensive understanding and experience in end-user device management.
3. Experience in endpoint security & protection for critical infrastructure.
4. Proven ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
5. Experience in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing customer requirements.

Must-have language skills

Fluent English communication skills in speech and writing (minimum C1 level).

Preferred Competencies and skills

Relevant certifications in product management, data management, or cloud technologies are a plus. Fluent German in speech and writing (at least B2).
