Your responsibilities

  • supporting the Head of Non-Financial Risk Management in day-to-day business activities as well as strategic initiatives
  • leading local risk management team, maintaining high engagement and resolving any issues
  • leading hiring processes and contributing to effective talent selection
  • coordinating and managing activities and projects within the area of Non-Financial Risk Management
  • identifying and understanding dependencies between different disciplines of Non-Financial Risk Management (e.g., IT risks, operational risks, compliance, data protection) and driving their further development and integration
  • keeping internal and external stakeholders always informed and ensuring transparent communication
  • actively contributing expertise in regulatory requirements, especially DORA, to daily work and strategic initiatives
  • collaborating closely with other departments (including Munich Re and ERGO entities worldwide) and promoting agile, solution-oriented ways of working
  • supporting the further development and optimization of processes and methodologies in Non-Financial Risk Management

Our requirements

  • fluency in English (C1)
  • university degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management or a related field
  • several years of experience in non-financial risk management, ideally in the insurance sector
  • knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially DORA
  • first experience in leading a team
  • comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • structured and solution-oriented work style
  • team-player with innovative mindset
