Do you want to play an active part in the energy transition? Join our Electrolyzer product unit team to be at the heart of the strategy of Air Liquide for the energy transition! Become part of the team to build the next generation of Electrolyzer for green hydrogen production!

Your responsibilities

  • Perform design tasks for Instrumentation for Electrolysis technology;
  • Prepare Instrument List, Data Sheets for Instruments, Valves, Analysers;
  • Prepare Wiring drawings (junction box arrangement, loop drawings);
  • Prepare Layout drawing (cable trays, instruments);
  • Prepare Hook-ups and Material Take-off;
  • Coordinate Package Units, interfaces to other disciplines, clients, and vendors;
  • Verify project documentation with respect to its completeness and accordance with standards, branch regulations, and contract requirements;
  • Participate in inspections for instruments, valves, and analysers;
  • Supervise the erection work;
  • Further develop into Design Authority/TCL Expert;
  • Potential mid-term development for other positions such as Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Project Manager.

Reporting line & localisation:

  • The Product Instrumentation Engineer reports to the respective Head of Electrolysis department part of Electrolysis Product Unit.
  • This role is located in Krakow, Poland and requires business trips and delegations abroad.

Are you a MATCH?

Competencies and Profile:

  • Masters degree in Instrumentation;
  • More than 3 years of experience with lead engineer competency;
  • Ability to work independently on the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for instrumentation for domestic and international projects;
  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written);
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety of Programmable Electronic Systems and Safety Instrumented Systems for Process Industry in accordance with IEC 61508 and 61511 standards would be appreciated;
  • Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, ACAD, use Smart Plant Instrumentation, SmartPlant 3D would be appreciated;
  • Eager to work in a multi-cultural team, willing to travel short and long term (3-6 months) to other engineering centers and construction sites worldwide;
  • High interpersonal skills.
