Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for actively supporting the sales of customs services by engaging with small and medium-sized businesses, handling sales leads, and initiating new business relationships. His work will be carried out primarily in an office-based setting – via phone, email, and using CRM systems and online tools. This position plays a key role in expanding the client base and ensuring a quick response to incoming inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Contacting potential SME clients via phone and email.
- Handling and qualifying sales leads provided by marketing or sourced independently.
- Presenting the company’s offer and matching services to the client’s needs.
- Supporting the preparation of commercial offers and pricing.
- Collaborating with the operations and customs departments during client onboarding.
- Building and updating the client database in the CRM system.
- Monitoring the market and competition, and actively suggesting sales-supporting initiatives.
- Participating in outbound/cold calling campaigns (working with ready-made databases and tools).
- Achieving sales targets and reporting activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar B2B sales position – preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, customs, or related industry.
- Ability to build relationships with clients via phone and email.
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and a goal-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in working with CRM systems and MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of international trade, customs clearance, or logistics – a strong advantage.
- Good work organization, independence, and consistency.
- Communicative level of English – a plus.
