Inside Sales Manager for the US Market (Bid Manager)

Join Jacobs, a global engineering and infrastructure consulting company, to lead and coordinate sales and proposal activities for the US market. The role focuses on managing bid proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate sales and proposal activities from planning to submission, ensuring alignment with client needs and compliance requirements.
  • Support proposal development by writing, editing, and tailoring non‑technical content, including resumes and project descriptions, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across internal teams, subcontractors, and partners, including scheduling and leading key meetings.
  • Manage proposal logistics and production, including document formatting, client website checking, graphic integration, and submission preparation (both electronic and hard‑copy).
  • Drive process improvement by identifying issues, suggesting enhancements, and ensuring strategic differentiators and win themes are reflected in final deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.S./B.A. in journalism, English, communications, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience developing and coordinating proposals, presentations, and other business‑development deliverables.
  • Additional advantage: proposal experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong English verbal, written, editing, and proofreading skills focused on sales messaging, themes, and proposal aesthetics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (mandatory); Adobe InDesign is an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
