You will be the part of Data Office which is an international cross-functional team, combining:
~ Data Modernization;
~ Data Foundation. As a Data Foundation team, we are driving data innovations from the core making data work securely, scalable, and smartly. To build and maintain the foundation that powers Kramp’s data-driven future. That means enabling modern, secure, and scalable data infrastructure that ingests raw data and transforms it into golden assets across the organization. We’re not just supporting the business - we’re leading transformation. With cutting-edge tools like DBT Cloud, a modern tech stack, and a Data Mesh approach, we’re creating an environment where AI, machine learning, and automation can thrive. This is the team shaping what’s next: from foundational pipelines to building future-ready AI tools. The team is building the foundation of Kramps self-service analytics platform in Google Cloud Platform-based data warehouse (DWH). Data visualization tools (e.g. Data-driven e-commerce applications;
~ Kramps Machine Learning platform.
The Data Office is international, and cross-functional team, combining Business Intelligence, DevOps, FinOps, Data Science, and Software Development;
~ To build our state-of-the-art cloud data warehouse, we use Python, Java, BigQuery SQL, other Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Build, Data transfers, Workflows, Schedulers and Functions;
~ Making use of dbt cloud, Terraform and Data Modelling Tools;
~ You will get deep insights into the work at an international wholesaler being in the middle of the digital transformation, you can contribute and make a real impact;
~ Experience in designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining software written in Python and/or Java as well as dataflows written in SQL;
~ Knowledge of different Data Modelling principles and selecting the right one depending on the needs of a consumer;
~ Feeling comfortable working with Linux, git, and Docker to extend and maintain our CI/CD workflows and pipelines or are you eager to dive into this topic;
~ Experience in working in cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS);
~ Experience or knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code applications like Terraform and data transformation tools as dbt and Dataform;
~ Excel conceptual thinking and a proactive approach to decision-making, taking ownership to ensure project success.
