We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong scripting capabilities to join our global team. You will be instrumental in driving risk remediation initiatives and technology upgrades across our existing platforms. This role will involve automating processes, patching security vulnerabilities, and ensuring our systems remain robust, secure, and up-to-date.

Your tasks

• Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using Perl and Shell/Korn Shell to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade existing applications, including version upgrades, library updates, and security patching
• Participate in the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities across distributed storage systems such as DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless code integration and deployment processes using Git
• Monitor and manage Unix/Linux-based environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Contribute to risk remediation efforts by proactively identifying potential risks and implementing effective solutions

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Perl and Shell/Korn Shell scripting
• Experience in writing, testing, and debugging code for various projects
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems, including DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Git
• Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative team environment
