Become a member of the Operational and Technology Risk team as an Information Security Analyst and gain a comprehensive understanding of how our company manages risk. Your role in the Team

You will join the central Technology and Operational Risk team, engaging in daily activities related to fostering information security and data protection risk culture and awareness, helping manage operational risks, supporting information security policy implementation, and governance tasks. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders across the globe, helping you to understand operational risk model and risk management principles, modern technologies and IT processes.

What you’ll do

  1. Oversee effective governance of the companys Information Security and Data Governance controls
  2. Enhance and drive information security and data protection consciousness and risk understanding throughout the organisation
  3. Ensure all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements related to information security and data protection are reviewed and implemented
  4. Ensure Information System Security Policy is maintained and supported with other policies and objectives, and relevant risks being managed
  5. Enhancement and improvement of security measures and processes
  6. Closely align with Audit, Technology Risk and local compliance teams ensuring healthy and relevant level of assessment is conducted across the organisation
  7. Monitor and address security-related risk events
  8. Identify areas within the processes and technologies requiring further improvements and develop appropriate method for governance
  9. Provide guidance and support in handling risk mitigation
  10. Help operational and business teams improve their control environment.
  11. Support and contribute to the risk-related committees

Who we’re looking for?

  1. Min. 3+ years of experience in IT/Security and data protection roles, ideally in a financial global organisation
  2. MSc degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field is highly desirable
  3. Strong understanding of Cyber Security, Information Security, and Data Protection domains
  4. Experience in security incident handling process, security tools
  5. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  6. You are curious about our product and the technology that sits behind it;
  7. You care about our clients, and you are hungry to improve their user experience;
  8. You are impatient about driving change and willing to deliver at pace;
  9. You are not afraid of the complexity of financial regulation and want to learn & grow your expertise;
  10. You are a creative problem solver capable of innovating and thinking big.

What you’ll need

  1. Good understanding of Security Governance, Risk and Compliance with some experience of security controls and requirements (ISO27001, GDPR, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
  2. Experience working with technology, risk and compliance teams; supporting risk and control assessments and security frameworks
  3. Ability to communicate, collaborate and influence with a variety of levels of stakeholders
  4. Proficiency in English
