The Work
- Working closely with client business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide optimal solutions in the areas of aftersales, warranty and spare parts management business processes.
- Development, optimisation, reshaping of different business processes from the area of aftermarket service operations with focus on warranty optimisation, spare parts optimisation (including parts pricing & inventory) and supply chain management and bridging business processes with technology (e.g., SAP, Business Intelligence tool, etc.).
- Leading technology platform solutioning, implementation and enhancement projects, including planning, design, fit/gap analysis, build and configuration, testing, cutover and other deployment activities.
- Collaborating with other cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other ERP modules.
- Master Data Management and Governance focused on assets maintenance operations, MRO supply chain, quality assurance and warehouse management.
Flexible: We are delivering our work mostly remotely but travelling and on‑site advisory are required. Working closely with clients in their offices, mostly across Europe, or other locations for short or long term is still required. There is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. What you’ll need
- Experience of working in aftermarket service operations space across areas like warranty optimisation, after‑market spare parts optimisation including parts pricing, parts inventory and supply chain management, most preferably in industrial or automotive.
- Strong experience with SAP SD/CS or related modules (at least Key User) and perfect knowledge of related business processes with main focus aftersales, especially warranty management, spare parts management.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment.
- Project Management skills and proficiency in analysing and translating Business Requirements to Technical Requirements and IT Architecture.
- Experience in Project Management activities including planning, deliverables development, project execution monitoring, managing stakeholder relationships, mitigating risks and managing change requests.
- Change Management in review of existing processes and procedures, definition of future state processes, development of training material and delivery of training sessions to business users.
- Excellent Business English communication skills (written & spoken). Knowledge of German or French would be appreciated.
- Analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases, including ability to clearly communicate these data insights to others.
- Experience in developing analytics model to drive cost‑to‑serve optimisation in the service operations space and understanding of manufacturing processes is well received.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where continuous innovation is desired.
