Industry Sales Manager (Dairy / Meat)

We are looking for an Industry Sales Manager (Dairy / Meat) to join our sales- and service subsidiary in Poland. The position is responsible for selling the organization’s products in the Laboratory market segment across Poland, primarily from a home office. Travel is required in the range of 60–75%. The Industry Sales Manager reports to the Managing Director and has no direct reports.

Position Requirements and Specifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business‑to‑business sales environment.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales; experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments strongly preferred.
  • Experience in cross‑selling and Value‑Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition) rather than selling price alone.
  • Excellent computer skills with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Processing, Engineering or a related field (educational background expected).

Major Position Accountabilities

  • Sell instrumentation to food producing, processing and agricultural accounts as defined by FOSS Market Segments.
  • Be responsible for overall sales performance in the territory, ensuring customer satisfaction while staying within the sales budget.
  • Create sales strategies for each account and manage a territory plan with measurable goals and a timetable for actions.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system for prospects, proposals, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc.
  • Provide input to marketing/sales regarding competition, competitive pricing, product applications and new product development.
  • Participate in trade shows.

  • Experience as a self‑starter and multi‑tasker, self‑motivated with capacity to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
