We’re looking for an Indirect Tax Junior Analyst for the RTR Indirect Tax team based in our EMEA SSC. You would work within the Indirect Tax team of ~8 people to provide the complete, accurate and timely processing of the Indirect Tax process including VAT Accounting, Reconciliation and month end reporting, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external requirements. The team you will be joining plays an important role in the overall success of the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Ensure efficiency & high quality of Indirect Tax / VAT processes
- Accelerate value & make an impact by doing day-to-day Indirect Tax / VAT operations
- Review and support on Indirect Tax / VAT Accounting
- Perform reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Preparation and review of VAT journal entries
- Preparation of standard reports
- Check that transactions are booked according to accounting policy
- Play an active role in new transition processes and in continuous improvement and standardization process
- Create and keep process related documentation (SOPs) current
- Cooperate with GL, AP and Local markets team members
- Perform daily tasks and interact with people at all levels within & outside the organization
- Collaborate with internal team for solving raised issues and ensure the right satisfaction level
- Ensure existing policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure legal requirements respect and service quality
- Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) meet the requirements
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
- Eagerness to develop, learn and operate in Indirect Tax / VAT area
- Basic accounting knowledge or Indirect Tax / VAT process knowledge
- Aiming to gain a Bachelor´s/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Mature attitude towards challenges and problem-solving
- Ability to work across cultures with all levels of the organization as well as with different functions
- Self-confidence and a growth mindset attitude
- Able to work according to deadlines and set priorities
