YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Indirect Material Buyer will be responsible for sourcing management, contract execution and supplier performance for an assigned set of commodities. He / She will interact with various stakeholders for Stellantis depending on commodity being managed (Manufacturing, Legal, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, ICT, Human Resources, Finance, etc.) in order to coordinate the various actions to manage Request for Quotations or Contract Execution.

Activity description

• To define or contribute to the Commodity Strategy of the perimeter in charge
• To prepare and manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) in line with the bid list defined through the commodity strategy of the perimeter in charge
• To generate the Purchase Agreement (contract) in line with the supplier selection made (REC)
• To ensure contract execution : terms & conditions
• To manage escalation level with suppliers when needed for performance issues
• To manage and negotiate purchasing performance through negotiating and monitoring the whole set of available leverages
• To coordinate and prepare various business reviews with suppliers
• To manage the administrative work attached to these activities (Purchase orders, amendments, etc.)
• To manage reports (e.g. Performance roadmap)
• Recommendation of suppliers according to sourcing timing, cost targets and commodity strategy
• Elaborate and ensure the signature of the Purchase Agreement and or GT&Cs
• Economical performances including VO, in line with Division and Commodity Group’s targets
• All business administration linked to this position

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering or Economic Master Degree is preferable
• Min. 3 years of experience in Purchasing (preferably in Indirect Material - Industrial, Transportation & Logistics, Sales & Marketing, ICT, Corporate & Engineering Services )
• Experience with supplier bidding process and complex negotiations
• Knowledge of MS Office & SAP
• Desire and motivation to acquire new competences about Purchasing processes
• Analytical skills and problem solving competences
