For our Client, an international company operating in the manufacturing and distribution sector, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of Independent Accountant to join the office located in Warsaw (Mokotów).
Responsibilities:
- Independent management of the company’s accounting records within assigned areas
- Posting and verifying accounting documents in accordance with applicable regulations
- Recording company expenses and monitoring operational budgets
- Fixed assets accounting and reconciliation
- Preparing payments and performing ongoing reconciliation of accounts
- Ensuring correct cost classification and VAT accounting
- Preparing documentation and reports for month-end closing and audits
- Cooperation with local and international teams as well as external partners
- Participation in improving and optimising accounting processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Independent Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, including VAT
- Practical experience in fixed assets accounting
- Good knowledge of financial–accounting systems (SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage)
- Very good command of MS Excel
- Good command of English enabling work in an international environment
- Accuracy, responsibility and good organisational skills
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting or Economics is an advantage.
