Independent Accountant – CBRE Poland

CBRE Advisory (CBRE sp. z o. o.) is a Polish company, part of CBRE Group, Inc., world’s largest real estate and investment advisory firm.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Comprehensive bookkeeping for real estate companies
  • Preparing reports for the Fund, Management Board, bank, and other institutions
  • Preparing tax returns and JPK files
  • Calculating corporate income tax, building tax, and deferred tax
  • Analyzing the accounts and implementing the month‑end closing procedure
  • Cooperating with other departments at CBRE
  • Preparing reports for the National Bank of Poland and the Central Statistical Office
  • Contacting clients to ensure effective accounting services
  • Support the audits
  • Checking the accuracy of account balances and settlements with contractors
  • Ongoing monitoring of legal and tax changes

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Higher education in a specialized field (Accounting, Finance)
  • Communicative knowledge of spoken and written English (minimum B1 level), fluent Polish
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position; knowledge of the real estate sector will be an advantage
  • Very good practical knowledge of accounting and tax issues
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to plan and organize ones own work, identify problems, and independently seek solutions
  • Ability to be involved, work in a team, and support team members
  • Responsibility, meticulousness, punctuality, communication skills, independence, and proactivity
  • Positive attitude towards the environment and duties performed
  • Experience in preparing reports
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Sage Symfonia will be an advantage
