We are currently recruiting for ZHO-TW LQA game test project for February 24th.

JOB INFORMATION

Type of cooperation: project-based, freelance - with a possibility for a longer cooperation

Location: Gdańska 41, Warsaw, Poland.

Work hours: you need to be available during our office hours (9-17 CET, Mon-Fri)

Who are we looking for:

Professional LQA testers who are skilled and experienced in localizing texts from English into Traditional Chinese

Responsibilities:

• Proofreading texts in Traditional Chinese;
• Game testing on PC and consoles, looking for linguistic bugs (Traditional Chinese);
• Making sure deadlines are met;
• Collaborating with PMs and translators.

Requirements:

• Perfect language knowledge of Traditional Chinese in all possible aspects (punctuation, grammar, spelling, gaming, and pop-cultural slang);
• A very good command of English is a MUST;
• Even better command of Traditional Chinese;
• Experience as an LQA tester
• Linguistic degree preferred, but you may also be the last year student;
• Attention to detail;
• Problem-solving attitude;
• Friendly attitude;
• Passion for games is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAT tools is an advantage.

The first step is completing a language sample. Its composed of small fragments of various texts, chiefly related to video games, and it has a 24-hour deadline. Our in-house linguist will review the sample, and we will get back to you with feedback information within two weeks.

To avoid double taxation, you must provide us with a tax residency certificate before the first payment.

If everything goes well, we will make you an offer, and you can start your journey in Roboto!
