expondo Group is looking for an In-house legal counsel to advise senior management, manage external legal issues, and ensure compliance across a Europe-wide ecommerce company. As a growing B2B tools and equipment company, we deal with a wide range of legal issues with external advisors. We now seek to centralize our legal services under an in-house lawyer to improve practices and proactively prevent problems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work with the CEO, CFO, and senior executives to manage legal risks and prevent major issues.
• Provide legal guidance in an international e-commerce group (Poland, Germany) in areas such as commercial trading law, data protection, competition law, corporate law, and employment law.
• Manage a portfolio of legal services and oversee their utilization.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts in English, Polish, and German.
• Identify and analyze relevant legal developments and implement necessary adaptations.
• Communicate with external lawyers and authorities.
• Coordinate and manage lawsuits.

WHAT YOU BRING IN:

• Self-reliant advice to management and employees on legal issues, with practical solutions.
• Law degree and full qualification as a lawyer.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment and in areas related to the legal fields listed.
• Experience with e-commerce legal issues is a significant asset.
• Interest in a broad range of legal activities.
• Fluent in English and either Polish or German.
• Careful, independent, structured, and reliable work approach with quick comprehension.
• Hands-on mentality and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
