Immigration Coordinator role at Hitachi Energy.

The International Assignments team within the Global Mobility function manages relocation, assignment, and immigration processes for our growing population of internationally mobile employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are searching for an Immigration Coordinator who will support the management and coordination of Foreign Local Hires immigration and relocation process in Sweden for Hitachi Energy’s fast‑growing global workforce.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Daily administration support of immigration and relocation services for Foreign Local Hires population hired under Hitachi Energy Sweden AB.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and managers to ensure seamless process.
• Maintain good communication with local relocation vendors.
• Provide excellent customer support – assist new hires and managers with work permit and relocation related questions.
• General support for IA Team yearly recurring processes and projects.
• Manage business travelers work permit process: request immigration support, review reports, support invoicing and PO creation.

Your Background

• Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Tax, Law or similar, preferably with a focus on global mobility.
• Experience: 1‑2 years in Global Mobility, especially in administering immigration and relocation processes in a global organization, vendor management. Experience with NEU countries is an asset.
• Soft skills: Empathy, good communication, problem‑solving, team player, analytical thinking.
• Work approach: Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, adapt to change, maintain confidentiality.
• IT skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus – Swedish preferable.
