Description

The International Assignments team within the Global Mobility function manages the relocation, assignment, and immigration processes for our growing population of internationally mobile employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are searching for an Immigration Coordinator who will support the management and coordination of Foreign Local Hires immigration and relocation process in Sweden for Hitachi Energy’s fast-growing global workforce.

After some initial training you will be offered the opportunity to support Foreign Local Hires population that are hired under Hitachi Energy Sweden AB on a permanent contract directly, which will offer you an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Global Mobility, especially in administering immigration and relocation process in a global organization, vendor management.

How you will make an impact:

  • Daily administration support of immigration and relocation services for Foreign Local Hires population hired under Hitachi Energy Sweden AB.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team in Sweden, HR Operations and managers to ensure seamless process.
  • Maintain good communication with local relocation vendors.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools: PowerPoint and Excel
  • Provide excellent customer support – assist new hires, managers with their work permit and relocation related questions.
  • General support for IA Team yearly recurring processes/projects.
  • Manage business travelers work permit process: request immigration support for HE business travelers going on a business trip, review reports, support with invoicing and PO creation.

Your background:

  • Education & experience: A Bachelor degree in a relevant field, which includes Business Administration, Tax and Law, preferably with a focus on global mobility. Previous experience with immigration and relocation administration especially for NEU countries will be an asset.
  • Soft skills: Empathy, good communication, and problem-solving skills will be highly valued. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical and fact-based thinking.
  • Work approach Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs, while managing personal workload. It should be comfortable working within an international environment and across diverse cultures. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Tools experience: Good IT skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Language skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a positive – Swedish preferable
