Join our project related to the development and standardization of the SCADA platform in a global organization operating in the building materials and industrial solutions sector.

Take a strategic role in defining, maintaining and developing the enterprise architecture based on the Ignition (Inductive Automation) platform. The role focuses on architecture, standards and governance.

The position involves working closely with IT, Engineering and Operations teams in a multi‑site and international environment, ensuring scalability, security and consistency of industrial automation solutions.

Your tasks

• Defining and developing an enterprise architecture for the Ignition platform (multi‑site, hub‑and‑spoke)
• Designing a scalable, secure and resilient architecture: Tag Providers, data flows, Gateway Network, Ignition Edge, EAM
• Define communication strategies between sites and the central layer (OT/IT)
• Ensure architecture compliance with HA/DR, redundancy, network segmentation and cyber security requirements
• Recommend best solutions and ensure consistency of deployments between sites
• Assessing and advising on Ignition modules (native and 3rd party authorized)
• Collaborate with IT teams (infrastructure, network, security) in the areas of sizing, virtualization, containerization and performance
• Support system testing, technical troubleshooting and performance optimization at the architecture level
• Maintain platform documentation, reference architecture and governance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience with Ignition (Inductive Automation)
• Very good knowledge of SCADA, PLC integration and OT protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus)
• Experience in enterprise / multi‑site Ignition architecture design
• Previous work in manufacturing / industrial environments
• Practical knowledge of IT/OT integration and infrastructure security, including networks, firewalls and system protection mechanisms
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Operations, IT)
• Experience working with high availability architecture, DR, Zero Trust, cloud/on‑prem integration - welcome
• Fluency in English required (C1/C2)
