Who we are:

UPS Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS, is continuing its growth within Europe. It provides risk mitigation and financial solutions for businesses of all sizes and industries along global supply chains. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Industrial Engineering team. As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for guiding the test efforts at all complexity levels.

Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist provides mentorship and expertise in technologies and processes for Information Services and Quality Assurance. This position automates test scenarios and expected outcomes. The Quality Assurance Specialist applies a comprehensive knowledge of technical skills, principles, practices, and procedures of testing methodologies and working knowledge in planning, designing, and conducting QA reviews and inspections. This position uses source documentation as input and contributes to the planning and implementation of testing activities, leading testing components of large and complex projects, assigns tasks, provides direction to resources, and reports progress to project stakeholders. The successful candidate will create and select tools and methodologies for review and approval by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assessment (QA) development processes.
• Develop test solutions.
• Develop product expertise as a self-starter to enable delivery of expert testing across the organization.
• Develop and implement new practices and testing standards.
• Contribute to future project design.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver both web and client/server based testing.
• Experience with test automation tools e.g. Selenium.
• Good knowledge on CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong functional testing skills.
• Defect tracking and management using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelors Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field – Preferred.
• Additional languages; French, Italian, or German - Beneficial.
