Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of the IAG assurance activities
  • Prioritizing activities to make sure the team delivers on time and focusses the IAG activities on the areas of greatest cyber risk
  • Lead and drive the continuous improvement of identity services across XL
  • Champion and promote IAG good practices across XL
  • Product owner for a portfolio of IAG products, ensuring the products and related services are effective and fit for purpose
  • Manage the delivery of the IAG processes, drive continuous improvement in the delivery of IAG services
  • Identify relevant IAG metrics and facilitate the team to report on these metrics. Present these metrics and explain them to various governance forums (IT Security Forum, Internal Control Information Security Steerco, etc.)
  • Measure the identity services provided by various IT service providers (e.g. AXA Group Operations, Accenture) to make sure they deliver appropriate identity services. Drive the remediation of identity non-compliance to make sure the identity products/services comply with the AXA XL identity standards and processes.
  • Accountable for the management of IAG tool vendors, to make sure the tools meet AXA XL requirements
  • Own the resolution of various audit, second opinion, and information security spotlight issues; closing the issues on time and to budget
  • Work with various leadership teams (e.g. GT Leadership, Identity Governance forum (including AXA XL COO’s)) to make sure internal identities have appropriate identity governance
  • Work with the Business to customer identities have appropriate identity governance
  • Report on Identity maturity and gaps to the XL CIO, CSO and to the Identity Governance Forum (AXA XL COO’s)
  • Drive remediation of identity compliance gaps and failures
  • Support IT projects to embed appropriate identity governance within the IT projects

Our requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of identity and access management governance tools and associated good practice processess, including:
  • In-depth expereince of operating IAG controls within an regulated sector
  • In-depth / hands on wnowledge and experience of configuring IAG tools (for example Azure Entra, ping castle, Quest, Saviyant, Aveska)
  • Experience of configuring identity tools (for example Active Directory, Auth 0, Entra)
  • Experince managing and coaching a technical team consisting of multi-national resources
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of security policies and standards
  • Knowledge of security industry standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST frameworks and risk methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complex security concepts, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences
  • Experience operating in an environment that requires a high degree of autonomy
