Job Description

Division: Chief Information Security Office (CISO) – Identity & Access Management (IDAM)

You will be joining CISO in the Identity and Access Management (IDAM) team. IDAM oversees implementing, operating and managing all the access from, to or within the Euroclear IT infrastructure. This helps to ensure that everyone has access to the right resources at the right time for the right reasons – provided in a way which aligns to the increasingly meticulous compliance requirements Euroclear is subject to. Services covered by IDAM include access management, user lifecycle management, privileged access management and recertification, as well as providing delivery and advisory services.

The User Access Management Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the User Access Management squad within Identity & Access Management. The manager will lead a team of specialists, collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in access governance and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: manage and inspire a team of approximately 10 members, setting clear expectations and goals, empowering and holding people accountable.
  • Performance Management: establish clear goals and expectations and work closely with team members to improve their performance, provide feedback, and offer support and guidance.
  • Collaboration: build a safe, diverse and inclusive team and foster collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Problem solving: listen to team members’ feedback, address issues and challenges within the team, offering solutions and resolution strategies.
  • Communication: maintain open and effective communication with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation: allocate resources efficiently and effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Training and Development: identify training needs and support team members in their development.
  • Access Control Operations: oversee user account management, permissions, and role-based access controls across various platforms (Active Directory, cloud applications, enterprise systems, etc.).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with IT, HR, Legal, and business unit leaders to understand access requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation to streamline access management workflows and enhance security posture.
  • Reporting: generate and present regular reports on access management metrics, compliance status, and risk assessments to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in user access management, identity and access management (IDAM), or IT security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of access control concepts, role-based access control (RBAC), least privilege, and segregation of duties.
  • Experience with IDAM tools and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR) and audit processes.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar) are preferred.
