We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our global team in the role of IBM MQ Engineer at Hybrid Integration Platform. Hybrid Integration Platform is one of the platforms that constitutes The Enterprise Infrastructure Area within IT function. The function powers the platforms that enable our internal clients to operate efficiently, securely, and with insight to accelerate the internal customer journey, increase service agility, and improve resilience. MQ Team provides messaging capabilities to our internal customers around the globe.
responsibilities :
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM MQ on distributed platforms (Linux/Windows) or on Mainframe platforms.
Create and manage MQ objects (queues, channels, listeners, topics, etc.).
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of MQ environments as well as manage MQ clustering, workload balancing, and failover configuration.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, performance issues, and integration failures. Maintain MQ disaster recovery and backup procedures. Document procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions thoroughly.
Implement and maintain security standards (SSL/TLS, RACF/Active Directory integration, etc.).
Participate in change management and deployment processes.
Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to support new projects and existing environments.
requirements-expected :
Solid technical knowledge and experience with IBM MQ administration. 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ administration. Strong knowledge of MQ internals, message flows and troubleshooting tools. Experience with MQ security concepts and implementation.
Understanding of ITIL processes and automation skills. Incident, Problem, Change Management processes are used at the bank to keep our changes safe and learn from mistakes. Scripting skills (REXX, Shell, PowerShell or Python). You will also interact with automation engineers on daily basis.
Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
Strong analytical and communication skills. You must know how to analyse data from logs and monitoring dashboards and communicate with the other teams the issues and problems to improve resilience.
