We are seeking a skilled IBA Application Developer to join our team in Krakow for a hybrid role under a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in SCADA systems, Historian, and IBA applications, combined with strong expertise in software development within industrial settings. This role involves maintaining and enhancing SCADA and automation systems to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
responsibilities :
Support and maintain existing SCADA and Historian installations, addressing break-fix issues and ensuring continuous system performance.
Contribute to new developments and enhancements, focusing on increasing functionality and user experience in SCADA and automation systems.
Collaborate with plant partners to gather requirements and understand enhancement needs for SCADA and automation systems.
Develop and integrate new machine models, IO tags, alarms, error messages, historian views, and graphics/metrics that provide meaningful insights.
Ensure high-quality code development that is well-documented, reusable, and adheres to established standards.
Manage database operations, including developing SQL queries and maintaining Historian databases.
Adhere to change management protocols and code versioning policies to maintain system integrity and security.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field, with 6 to 8 years of experience in SCADA and Historian systems.
Proficiency in Visual Basic, .NET languages, and script programming (Java/Python).
Extensive relational database experience, especially with SQL and SQL Management Studio.
Expertise in integrating with OPC server products like Kepware and utilizing REST/Web APIs.
Strong understanding of industrial network protocols such as PLC, Modbus TCP/IP, MQTT, Ethernet IP, Profibus, etc.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SCADA systems and applications.
Critical problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze plant server health and performance issues.
