FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our client in the technology sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential for extension and will be a hybrid role, based in Warsaw for 2 days per week. The salary for this position is up to 20,000 PLN.
Our client is looking for a senior specialist to take responsibility for developing and supporting the evolution and automation of the IAM programme, utilising key technologies and IAM best practices. Reporting to the Head of Identity and Access Management, this role plays a pivotal part in the success of the client’s information security strategy.

As an IAM Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain IAM systems to safeguard information resources from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Key tasks include resolving system weaknesses, providing post-implementation support, and performing regular maintenance. You will also enhance IAM solutions to address evolving threats and improve efficiency, while troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring robust security capabilities.
In this role, you will work closely with enterprise architecture, security teams, and project managers to deliver effective IAM solutions. Responsibilities include defining technical components, aligning them with enterprise strategies, and collaborating with global teams and product vendors during implementation. Additionally, you will maintain accurate system documentation and share knowledge by coaching others on IAM best practices.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
6+ years of IAM experience, including 5+ years with IAM governance platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta) and 4+ years with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JSON).
Strong knowledge of IAM concepts (e.g., SSO, MFA, RBAC, SoD), IGA/WAM technologies, and cloud platforms such as Azure, Azure B2C, and O-365.
Experience in integrating third-party/cloud applications using federation protocols and implementing IGA tools with HRIS systems, SCIM, and API integrations.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC2) and aligning IAM with organisational security goals.
Proven ability to lead IAM initiatives, onboard critical applications, and support entitlement reviews, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and driving IAM as a key security pillar.
