Hydraulics Assembly Technician (Offshore Equipment)
Location: Gdynia, Poland (On-site)
Overview
We are seeking a Hydraulics Assembly Technician to support the assembly and integration of bespoke offshore equipment used in wind turbine installation and subsea operations. This is a hands‑on workshop‑based role focused on hydraulic system build, pipework installation and supporting functional testing prior to commissioning.
Ideal for technicians with strong hydraulic and mechanical skills who enjoy working on large, complex engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Build
- Assemble hydraulic circuits, valves, cylinders, pumps and hoses
- Install hydraulic pipework and fittings according to engineering drawings
- Support mechanical assembly across large offshore machinery
- Work with fabrication and machining teams to ensure build readiness
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Assist with hydraulic pressure testing, flushing and function testing
- Identify assembly issues and assist engineers with fault resolution
- Support FAT preparation and subsystem testing activities
Documentation & Quality
- Follow schematics, build instructions and technical drawings
- Complete build checklists, test sheets and QA documentation
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout assembly
Workshop & Site Support
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment
- Support mobilisation activities when needed
- Occasional site or offshore support may be required
Experience Required
- Experience in hydraulic assembly, fitting or maintenance
- Strong understanding of hydraulic components and circuits
- Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic diagrams
- Experience with heavy machinery, offshore equipment or automation is advantageous
