Job Purpose
As a Design Engineer you will join the Well & Flow Control department to be responsible for execution of engineering projects within the Hydraulics Systems Team.
Job Description
- Hydraulic Tubing design per project specific design specifications and engineering standards and following relevant processes
- Responsible for hydraulics documentation required for procurement and fabrication
- Routing of Hydraulic Tubing 3D models in NX
- Creating Hydraulic Assembly Layouts (hydraulic schematics)
- Preparing Bill of Materials including tube fittings selection
- Review engineering packages
- Perform product design reviews
- Maintenance of assigned project budget and schedule
- Cooperation and support for Product Designers
- Provide design input in technical meetings
You Are Meant For This Job If
- BSc/MSc in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics/Pneumatics Engineering or similar)
- Experience in Product Design & Development
- Good communication skills (fluent English required)
- Capable of solving technical issues
- Experience in CAD software (NX preferred)
- Basic or experienced in using hydraulic schematics, symbols, hydraulic systems
- Knowledge and experience in reading and understanding 2D technical drawings and documentation
- Experience in PLM Software (Teamcenter preferred) is an asset
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
