Job Description
AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. Enterprise Capabilities provides technical expertise and accelerates delivery across geographic boundaries. The role involves assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of water projects for public and private sector clients.
Heres what youll do:
- Work on detailed engineering assignments involving network modeling.
- Perform hydraulics engineering work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
- Accomplish work autonomously on small to larger projects supported by EC.
- Perform self-checks of work products before submission and participate in quality control reviews of documentation from equally or less experienced staff.
- Prepare project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.
- Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of working on conveyance and distribution hydraulic modelling (6+ years).
- Skilled in hydraulics and hydrology software packages related to network modeling, such as WaterGems/SewerGems, Infoworks WS Pro, Infowater Pro, etc.
- Advanced level in CAD/BIM/Digital Engineering techniques (preferably Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer).
- Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e. AASTHO, AWWA, Australian Codes, British Standards, etc.) will be considered favorably.
- Experience working in the North America region/Australia will be considered favorably.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field.
