We are seeking a Poland-based Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee the full HR spectrum while ensuring strong compliance with Polish labor law (KP – Kodeks Pracy) and best HR practices. This role is central to shaping a positive employee experience, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring alignment between our Poland office and the Global HR Team.

You will play a key role in strengthening HR operations locally, ensuring legal compliance, optimizing processes, and building a high-performance, people-centric culture within our Poland team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Strategic HR & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals for the Poland office.
  • Collaborate with global leadership to support long-term workforce planning and growth.

HR Policy, Compliance & Labor Law (Poland)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies that comply with the Polish Labour Code (Kodeks Pracy).
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (ZUS, PPK, medical examinations, working time norms, leave entitlements, documentation standards).
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on local labor law obligations.

Team Leadership & HR Operations

  • Lead and support the local HR function in Poland.
  • Ensure HR processes are executed effectively (contracts, amendments, benefits administration, onboarding, probation, termination, etc.).

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for Poland-based roles.
  • Oversee structured onboarding processes, including mandatory BHP training and medical check‑ups.

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Handle employee concerns, investigations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution in accordance with Polish legal procedures.
  • Lead engagement, well‑being, and culture‑building initiatives.

Performance & Development

  • Implement performance management processes, KPIs, and structured reviews.
  • Coach managers on goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement.

Learning & Training

  • Identify development needs, manage training programs, and ensure mandatory compliance trainings (e.g., BHP, GDPR awareness).
  • Support skill‑building initiatives and career development pathways.
  • Oversee compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and internal equity.
  • Work closely with Finance/Payroll vendors on monthly payroll, ZUS declarations, PPK enrolment, and benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with working time, overtime, and leave calculations.

HR Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Use HR systems and analytics tools (HRIS, Excel, Power BI, Data Studio) to track HR metrics, headcount, turnover, and compliance‑related data.
  • Prepare reports to support decision‑making.
  • Stay updated on Polish employment laws, legislative changes, and HR standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation (personnel files, e‑files, agreements, annexes).
  • Work with legal partners on compliance, audits, and risk mitigation.

Change Management & Growth Support

  • Support organizational changes, scaling activities, or restructuring.
  • Ensure clear communication and smooth transition processes for Poland employees.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Law, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in a management/leadership role in Poland.
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law, HR documentation standards, and payroll processes.
  • Experience in fintech, brokerage, financial services, or fast‑growth environments is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
  • Independent, self‑driven, and able to operate effectively in a global environment.
  • Comfortable working across different time zones and collaborating with international teams.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving multinational environment.
