Strategic HR Planning and Leadership - collaborating with the leadership team to address human resource needs, developing recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality staff aligned with the schools mission, providing recommendations on compensation and benefits to foster a collaborative culture, reviewing and proposing HR policies in line with the school’s goals, and establishing partnerships with recruitment agencies for both local and international hires.
Employee Relations and Engagement - designing policies that motivate staff to contribute significantly to student learning and the school’s mission, managing employee contracts and registration processes, overseeing onboarding and offboarding procedures, coordinating orientation for new hires (including overseas staff), and ensuring work visa procurement and background checks. The role also involves collaborating with division principals on HR issues and supporting them in creating employee engagement strategies to promote well-being and a sense of belonging.
Compensation and Benefits - working with the Director and Business Manager to develop the annual HR budget, assessing the effectiveness of compensation and benefit structures to ensure market competitiveness and equity, overseeing payroll and benefits programs (such as health insurance and retirement plans), and supporting divisional principals in aligning employee evaluations with professional development opportunities.
Compliance and Risk Management - overseeing HR policies to ensure legal compliance with labor laws and industry standards, working with legal advisors on HR matters, guiding divisional leaders on employee relations and performance issues, and managing the registration process for local and overseas employees, including work permits, background checks, and required documentation.
HR Department - managing employee contracts, overseeing payroll in line with the school calendar, and maintaining HR procedures and systems (e.g., recruitment, performance appraisals, and job descriptions). The role involves active participation in the recruitment process, reviewing the Employee Handbook and HR policies annually, supervising the HR team, and ensuring compliance with the schools safeguarding policy.
WYMAGANIA:
Degree in Human Resources Management and/or relevant area. Bachelor’s Degree minimum, Masters Degree preferred.
Significant prior Human Resources managerial experience in education or similar industry.
English and Polish Language Proficiency
Excellent interpersonal skills and dispositions with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, and staff.
