Java Developer with Kafka

Location: Cracow

Contract Type: B2B

Salary: 170PLN/hour - 200 PLN/hour

Work Model: Hybrid (Once a week from the office in Cracow)

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement data intensive applications using Kafka messaging platform.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka into existing systems and applications.
3. Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to Kafka messaging platform.
4. Implement best practices for Kafka configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
5. Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange between different systems.
6. Collaborate with team members to design and build microservices architecture.
7. Write clean and efficient code in Java and Spring Boot for seamless integration with Kafka.
8. Create technical documentation and provide support for other team members.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data streaming and messaging platforms.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3-6 years of experience working with API and Java.
2. Proficiency in Java programming language.
3. Experience working with Oracle database.
4. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework.
5. Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Kafka or Spring Boot.
2. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
3. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP.
4. Experience working with real-time data processing technologies.
