Job Description:

The position

The HR Specialist with French/German or Italian will play an important role in successfully developing the HR Regional Service Centre and report into the AskHR Lead. The HR Specialist will work closely with key stakeholders in EMEA countries and take part in transferring HR processes and tasks from the EMEA countries which will be serviced by the team in Warsaw.

Your main responsibilities for HR Specialist will be to:

  1. Provide professional operational support via phone, chat and email on a wide range of HR administrative processes, HR systems and services to employees and managers across EMEA.
  2. Transfer HR processes and tasks from EMEA countries to the AskHR Unit in Warsaw and ensure a strong customer focus and continuous improvement of services.
  3. Engage in building a HR knowledge base for the team of HR Specialists to use covering various EMEA HR processes and local legislation.
  4. Close collaboration with HR colleagues who are based in different EMEA countries and colleagues in the Global Business Service People Operation in India when solving inquiries within the service level agreements.
  5. Act as a “super user” or “subject matter expert” within specific fields of expertise and/or to a specific country.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree (business, law, HR or similar would be an asset).
  2. None or minimum 1 year of experience and process knowledge within the HR area or being interested in HR activities.
  3. Fluent written and spoken English and French or German or Italian as a must.
  4. Good knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) system would be considered as a plus.
  5. Demonstrated skills in PC applications and experience with SAP HR preferred.
  6. Excellent communication skills and be a good team player with a can-do attitude.
  7. Problem solver with strong customer focus and experience in HR.

About the Department

We are on an exciting journey towards expanding our HR Regional Service Centre in Warsaw. The ambition for the Regional Service Centre is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 4 employees working in Novo Nordisk in the different countries in EMEA region. The AskHR unit is the first point of contact for all people inquiries and the team also contributes to the development of new global processes and systems including new digital solutions. The Regional Service Centre is co-located with the Business Area office for EMEA East and the Polish affiliate.
