We are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team and support daily HR administration, payroll and international processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a Compensation & Benefits Specialist and gain hands-on experience in payroll, benefits, and international employment.
- Support daily HR and payroll calculations (Polish and international labor law).
- Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in HR and Microsoft Office applications or in payroll systems (e.g., Optima, Salesforce, Zenegy).
- Coordinate international assignment documentation (A1 certificates, business travel allowances, settlements).
- Monitor expatriation thresholds (e.g., 90/182-day rules) and ensure compliance.
- Support employee benefits (medical care, sports packages) and communicate with external providers and employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide HR support related to overtime, leave, advances, payslips, social insurance, taxes, and certificates.
- Develop knowledge of the full payroll cycle and compensation & benefits.
- University degree or in progress (HR, administration, economics, law or related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in HR/payroll.
- Experience with Optima or other HR systems.
- English level B2 or higher – required for daily communication.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Analytical mindset, willingness to work with numbers and systems
- Good communication skills – clear, patient, and approachable.
- Good organization skills and readiness to work with deadlines.
- Motivation to grow in HR, payroll, and international employment.
