HR Services Specialist (UK & Ireland)
Join Jacobs as an HR Services Specialist covering the UK & Ireland markets. We are an international engineering company with a Global Business Services (GBS) center in Krakow that delivers support across finance, accounting, HR, IT, procurement, payroll, and project management.
Overview
As a first‑level support specialist, you will assist employees, former employees, managers, Human Resource Partners, and external customers with HR, Benefits, and Payroll inquiries and transactional support in specific geographies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to requests from HR staff, managers, and employees using the knowledge management system.
- Navigating company systems and tools, explaining functionality to users.
- Processing information, data, transactions, and letters related to HR or payroll data.
- Tracking customer contacts and inquiries in the case management system.
- Monitoring the case management system and reassigning tasks to appropriate teams.
- Escalating matters to policy owners for resolution.
- Building productive relationships at all levels of the enterprise.
- Maintaining a professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and confidential approach.
- Collaborating with teammates, subject‑matter experts, and team leaders to handle complex cases and foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in HR, payroll, administration, document management, or customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of HR or payroll policies and processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion and integrity.
- Knowledge of German or Italian is an asset.
