For our client, we are looking for an expert voice to support HR operational processes for the Polish market. In this role, you will own the "Hire to Retire" journey, ensuring that every contract, leave calculation, and document is handled with precision and in full compliance with the Polish Labour Code (Kodeks Pracy). You will be responsible for balancing global Workday standards with local legal intricacies.

What we expect

• strong, practical knowledge of Polish Labour Law
• proven experience in HR operations or personnel administration within the Polish market
• familiarity with Workday (or other HRIS) and a high proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English
• a passion for accuracy. You define clear expectations for yourself and others, taking full responsibility for the quality of your "deliverables"
• the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism

Your tasks

• maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday, ensuring data integrity for the Polish market
• manages the full lifecycle of employment documentation: from drafting employment contracts (Umowa o pracę) and civil law contracts, to amendments
• acts as the guardian of compliance, monitoring mandatory medical check-ups (Medycyna Pracy)
• managing Time & Absence by expertly calculating vacation entitlements in strict accordance with Polish regulations
• collaborates closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of data
• influences others within the job area by explaining complex Polish labor laws, internal policies, and "best practices" to stakeholders and employees
• provides exceptional customer service to employees, addressing complex inquiries related to Polish employment law and internal global policies
