HR Expert – Strategic Workforce Planning
Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, the world’s largest HVAC‑R provider. DENV is the sales, development and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle‑East and Africa, operating across 8 production plants and numerous sales subsidiaries.
Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) in Warsaw serves as a competency centre driving process transformation, optimisation, standardisation and automation across supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.
Responsibilities
- Workforce Planning & Skills Development
- Design and implement a forward‑looking Workforce Planning framework across EMEA.
- Map critical skills, identify gaps and lead up‑skilling and reskilling initiatives.
- Roll out the Talent Intelligence Hub (TIH) as a strategic tool for skills mapping and development, training local HR and managers.
- Link workforce planning to performance management for measurable impact.
- Design workforce KPIs to track progress and take appropriate actions.
- Change Management
- Facilitate the adoption of new working methods across EMEA HR teams and business managers.
- Develop communication plans and training materials to support change.
- Strategic Alignment & Reporting
- Link workforce planning activities to wider company and EMEA HR strategy objectives.
- Monitor KPIs, interpret results and recommend actions.
- Contribute to overall EMEA HR strategy, action plan development and progress‑tracking methodology.
Qualifications
- Education & Skills
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices.
- Solid understanding of research methods and analysis.
- Monitoring trends and advancements in the HR field to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience
- Proven experience as an HR consultant, HR advisor and change agent in project management.
- Proven track record in international environments and corporate settings.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation.

- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Ability to strategise and formulate business plans.
- Analytical mind with problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Strong change‑management skills and the ability to lead transformation projects with a flexible mindset.
- Self‑starter, autonomous and able to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Computer‑savvy with working knowledge of HR IT to allow a data‑driven approach.
