The HR Executive – Europe will oversee and support HR operations across multiple European countries, ensuring compliance with employment laws and managing end-to-end HR processes for a 500-employee global IT services company. The role requires deep expertise in European labour regulations, particularly in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, along with strong operational HR experience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French or German will be a strong advantage.

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across European offices.
  • Maintain employee records, HRIS data accuracy, employment contracts, and personal files.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, documentation, probation tracking, and offboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, attendance, and timekeeping systems.
  • Respond to HR queries promptly and professionally.

2. Compliance & Labour Law Management

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
  • Prepare and review employment contracts, amendments, and legal documentation in accordance with local regulations.
  • Keep management informed about changes in EU employment directives and country-specific HR legislation.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Support internal and external HR audits across Europe.

3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for European positions: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and technical leads to understand staffing needs.
  • Build talent pipelines and manage relationships with local recruitment vendors.
  • Support employer branding activities within Europe.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues in EU regions.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in line with local laws.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities and feedback assessments.
  • Promote a positive and unified workplace culture across all European branches.

5. Payroll Coordination

  • Work closely with finance teams and external payroll providers in different countries.
  • Validate payroll inputs such as leave data, attendance, overtime, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll execution.

6. Performance Management

  • Support policy implementation for performance reviews, appraisal cycles, and goal-setting frameworks.
  • Coordinate PIPs, career development discussions, and departmental performance tracking.

7. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across European regions in collaboration with team leads.
  • Organize workshops, compliance training, and upskilling programs.
  • Maintain training records and track completion metrics.

8. HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports (headcount, attrition, diversity, leave data, recruitment KPIs, etc.).
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on HR analytics.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of HR operations experience, preferably in IT Services, Technology, or Consulting.
  • Mandatory: Strong experience working with European employment laws in: France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Finland.
  • Experience supporting a multicultural workforce across multiple European regions.
  • Prior experience working within a 300–1000 employee matrix organization preferred.
