Opportunity: Our client is an US based software development company.

HR Director (US Clients- remote) , This role entails developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, handling everything from talent management to team relations, leadership development, and organizational development. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal requirements, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The position involves occasional travel for team meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences.

This role provides a leadership opportunity to manage HR operations, develop strategic initiatives, and nurture employee relations, significantly impacting the companys success and offering a comprehensive leadership experience. It combines diverse responsibilities such as HR strategy development, compliance oversight, and cultural leadership, with the perks of competitive compensation, performance recognition, and professional development in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have a proven leadership success track record in HR management within the IT industry, particularly in software consulting or outsourcing. Candidates must have over 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a software consulting or outsourcing environment (Candidate has to be Polish/Romanian resident and have the ability to invoice our client on monthly basis)

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Guide HR policies and stay up to date on the latest policies and trends.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and execution of the employee experience plan while making meaningful contributions with ideas and improvements to the overall employee experience.
  • Work with the team to create programs and solutions that would increase retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide and track key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Execution of team member engagement including team building, swag, corporate parties and other activities.
  • Identify and evaluate training programs.
  • Own the leadership development program.

What do we expect?

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • 10+ years of HR experience in the IT industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Consulting / Outsourcing type of companies.
  • Proven experience with HR metrics.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, accept, and apply coaching.
  • Willingness to be creative and find solutions.
  • Metrics-driven and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent follow-up and strong time management/project management skills.
  • Hands-on doer while also having a strategic vision.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or Management role with direct reports.

The Offer

  • $30-40/hour gross compensation + VAT Coverage.
  • Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on KPI target achievement, results, and company performance.
  • There is no overtime eligibility . This role implies flexibility in expanded collaboration hours, and there will be a need to stretch outside of core hours as needed.
