You will join a team of dedicated, proactive, and constructive HR colleagues on the local and regional level where we share knowledge and experiences across to support each other in our daily operations and future growth.

What you will be doing:

As an HR Business Partner at ROCKWOOL, you will drive the HR agenda for our local Group Operations Technology functions, which operate globally. You will be a trusted partner and advisor to management teams, helping them set the direction for sustainable growth.

You will take full responsibility for HR provision and management of the functions you will support on a local basis, in coordination with other HR BPs in the region. You will engage in hands-on operations as well as strategic development of the HR area with full ownership and direct impact on the business.

Collaborating closely with management teams, you will:

  • Contribute to the respective functions overall business ambition with relevant people areas and alignment with HR on a local and group level.
  • Support managers at all levels in various cases, from sparring with the manager on difficult conversations to development plan establishment, and potentially, if no improvement is seen, also on exit procedures, in respect of the individual case and local regulation and requirements.
  • Support the business in identifying, developing, and supporting the execution of development activities at management/employee/team/individual levels: Skills/functional and personal competences/values & behaviors.
  • Drive daily HR operations well aligned with HRBP Group Function in HQ and with assistance from local HR support teams.
  • Ensure that managers with new employees joining are presented with our onboarding process as well as those who are leaving are included in exit-interviews and data gathering and analysis.
  • Ensure people engagement is driven on the managerial level, including running the satisfaction survey process.
  • Drive succession, talent, and competency management together with the management team and coordinate with HR Group as makes sense.
  • Manage recruitment processes from A-Z well aligned with the local recruitment team, including identifying business needs and interviewing candidates, and finalizing the contract.
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the annual people wheel in close cooperation with your HR colleagues: 1. Performance Management: Ensure that the process is run with local impact and not just frequency by discussing and reviewing the value hereof with manager and employee input on a regular basis; 2. Handle and coordinate the local Merit and bonus processes; 3. Succession planning and Critical roles processes.

What you bring:

To succeed, it is vital that you have what it takes to grasp the operational aspects and the needs of the business and situate yourself as a trusted partner. Thus, we imagine that you:

  • Bring an HR relevant academic background.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within Procurement, Purchasing, Engineering, or R&D function in a large, international organization.
  • Are experienced in communicating successfully with senior management and international stakeholders.
  • Write and speak English effortlessly.
  • Are experienced in using data to bring value to the business.
  • Have good conflict management as well as good diplomatic skills.
