HR & Payroll Specialist

Are you passionate about HR operations and ensuring smooth employee processes? We’re looking for a detail‑oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team and support day‑to‑day HR functions, payroll processing, and employee engagement in our four Nippon Seiki Europe locations (Poland, Germany, The UK, and The Netherlands).

Nippon Seiki (Europe) B.V. (NSEU) has been established in 2002 and is a fully owned subsidiary of Nippon Seiki Co. Ltd., based in Nagaoka, Japan. Our European headquarters is located in Hoofddorp – The Netherlands. We focus on the European automotive market with our engineering sites located close to the industry in Hallbergmoos (Germany), Redditch (United Kingdom) and a software development office in Gdansk (Poland).

Your profile

  • Experience in HR administration, payroll processing and employee data management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of labour law, GDPR, and HR compliance regulations.
  • A proactive ownership mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage HR & payroll administration, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely processing of payroll data.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR‑related matters, including policies, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, privacy compliance (GDPR), and process efficiency.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives by managing HR documentation, policies, and onboarding processes.
  • Generate reports and analyse key HR metrics to support business decision‑making.
