Join to apply for the HR Advisor role at Frontiers
The HR Advisor will support employees and managers by providing guidance, counselling, and training across a range of People topics. This is a 15-month fixed-term contract.
What you will do
- Support managers and employees in the designated countries, as well as the broader Human Resources team, ensuring the local execution of the HR strategy and administrative processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations matters for local teams and represent the company in interactions with local authorities.
- Take ownership of Polish labor law compliance, including monitoring changes and informing or educating the wider HR team about relevant updates and issues.
- Assist Functional HR teams in implementing the performance management process for local teams, ensuring timely execution and leading the process for underperformers when necessary.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams on recruitment initiatives for country-specific roles, including leveraging local sourcing solutions.
- Ensure the general salary increase process for non-managerial employees at the country level is executed accurately and aligns with the company’s defined budget.
- Work with the CoE Compensation Team on the local salary benchmarking process, providing high-quality data relevant to country-specific salary levels.
- Support onboarding efforts at the country level by welcoming new hires, facilitating their integration into the local office, and assisting with role-specific onboarding activities.
- Contribute to policy development and improvement across various HR areas, including overseeing the formulation and enhancement of company policies.
Required skills
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and appeals.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment law in Poland (international experience is advantageous).
- Understanding of visa and work permit processes in Poland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data management.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
