Job Description:

Our client is an international manufacturing company and one of the leaders in its sector. Due to its dynamic growth, we are seeking an experienced leader to take on the role of Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies, focusing on demand planning, procurement, and logistics.
  2. Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
  3. Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to maintain a reliable network.
  4. Oversee two manufacturing plants in the CEE region, ensuring smooth operations aligned with supply chain goals.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production and supply chain processes.
  6. Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with global standards.
  7. Align supply chain and manufacturing strategies with the company’s overall goals.
  8. Serve as a key liaison between regional operations and the global organization.
  9. Lead and develop supply chain, production, and logistics teams, fostering a culture of collaboration.
  10. Identify and mentor high-potential employees.
  11. Travel regularly within the CEE region to supervise and coordinate operations.

Professional Experience:

  1. University degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 7–10 years of leadership experience in supply chain management, with exposure to manufacturing environments, preferably in an international context.
  3. Proven track record of implementing successful supply chain strategies and achieving cost savings.
  4. Experience in managing multi-site production operations is an advantage.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent leadership and communication skills for managing cross-functional teams.
  7. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  8. Willingness to travel regularly within the CEE region.
