We are seeking an experienced Head of Resourcing to lead and grow our resourcing function for a major Irish technology company expanding into Poland. This is a unique opportunity to build a world‑class talent acquisition department from the ground up while actively driving recruitment efforts during the initial phase.
The ideal candidate is deeply connected within the Polish IT market, understands how things get done locally, and brings a strong network of industry contacts. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our hiring strategy, ensuring compliance with Polish labor laws, and delivering exceptional talent to support our rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive resourcing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build and scale the resourcing department, including processes, tools, and best practices.
- Personally lead recruitment efforts during the initial phase, sourcing top‑tier IT professionals.
- Leverage your network and market knowledge to attract high‑quality candidates efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with Polish employment legislation and hiring regulations.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and deliver on strategic workforce plans.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as a top employer in Poland.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on recruitment metrics and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in resourcing or talent acquisition & leadership roles within major Polish IT companies.
- Excellent communication skills in Polish (C1) and English (B2‑C1) (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of the Polish IT talent market and established industry connections.
- In‑depth knowledge of Polish labor laws, hiring regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale recruitment teams and processes.
- Strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability during the initial growth phase.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
